Description

Design Description
ROKKE WOOD is a wall lamp that represents a dialogue between the heritage of modernist architecture and a fresh look at contemporary design. Its elongated, oval shape is inspired by the simplicity and functionality of pre-war urban concepts of Gdynia, where aesthetics were subordinated to the logic of form. In this version finished in natural wood, the fixture gains an organic tone - light softly reflects off its surface, creating a pleasant, nuanced play of chiaroscuro.
The name ROKKE refers to the Norwegian word for stingray - a sea creature whose movement and form are the source of visual inspiration for this luminaire. The lamp's softly splayed body, with gently sloping lines, evokes the fluid, organic movement of a stingray gliding just above the ocean floor. This s
